Milling Equipment for Babbitt Guide Systems

Model H2B
The Model H2B is a double head milling machine for milling both sides of gang edger guide pads. It will also machine shifter arms with one pad. The guide pads are always machined parallel to the clamping area. Cutting tools are set by bolting a carbide faced setting block to the cutter head and placing the cutter bit tip against the block. No dial indicators or micrometerss are required for tool setting. Dial indicators are mounted on each head to provide easy adjustment. The head assemblies slide in machined ways for adjustment. Machine accuracy is +/- .0005 inch.
