which outperforms all others. Made of special steel alloy, these chipper knives are heat
treated to stand up under the heaviest feed possible. They produce uniform chips and
reduce fines to an absolute minimum. Their durability increases production, saves grinding

 Counter Knives
We build our counter knives from the same high quality alloy steel used in our chipper
knives. We give counter knives the same care and attention, because the quality of the
counter knife helps to determine the chip quality. Our counter knives deliver a smooth
break and flow with fewer pins and fines. |

 OSB/Waferizer & Flaker Knives
Pacific/Hoe recognizes the importance of high quality cutting tools to the OSB/Waferboard
and flakeboard industry, and the critical need for on-time deliveries. Our waferizer
knives are manufactured in a computer controlled CNC environment to assure accurate
tolerances on every knife. At each step in the manufacturing process the knives are
checked for uniform accuracy and consistency. We maintain large inventories at all our
locations to ensure prompt delivery to your plant. Our goal is to set a new standard of

 Veneer
Rechipper Knives
Our veneer rechippers are made with all of our usual attention to detail
with exacting tolerances and tough durability. Internal bolt slots demand a special heat
treat process to ensure toughness and resiliency. This extra care results in longer
lasting knives which equates to lower operating costs. |

 Veneer Lathe
Knives
The critical precision of these large knives demands special manufacturing
care. Thickness, flatness, parallelism, hardness and bevel are each given exacting
attention. Our precision ground knives will hold a razor-sharp edge. At Pacific/Hoe we
make our lathe knives in pairs for perfect end abutment. We ship them to you individually
wrapped and boxed in pairs. We manufacture knives to fit all lathes. They are available in
plain back, babbitt slotted and Linnton-drilled configurations. |
